Funny Farm Alpacas SBS Chief Ouray

Another True to Type Full Peruvian future herdsire from Jim Barker at Sweet Briar Suri Alpaca Farm in Ohio.  Chief is a 16 month old Medium Fawn that has started his career with a first place at the Royal Alpaca Challenge 2009. He has a large build and big bone structure with excellent confirmation and dense with tight locks to the skin.  His Sire is SBS Renegade, Renegade is a Dark Brown, almost Maroon colored male out of Accoyo Jackpot, making him 1/2 Accoyo. He has excellent conformation with very well defined locks all the way to the skin. He has great luster with a very soft fine hand. In his first show at 6 months of age, The AAA Futurity, he won his Dark Brown class and was Reserve Champion. By 14 months of age, he had 5 first places, 2 Color Championships and 2 Reserves. Quite a start!! Renegade continued to win in the show ring in the Spring of both 2004 and 2005.  His first cria was a ROSE GREY Female, Tinker's Ghost Dancer. And number two is also a light fawn girl, Sweet Suri Renaissance. So far he has produced 26 cria, 14 are girls and several are grey.

With credentials like that he will soon be producing award winning crias of his own.

Notorious is a 1/2 Accoyo Rose Grey Suri Alpaca Male who is exceptional in every way. His sire is Accoyo America Libertad, a suri male who is no longer living. With only 4 offspring from Libertad this is a rare suri alpaca bloodline.

Notorious has incredible luster and density and continues to collect blue ribbons. He is currently the only suri alpaca 1/2 Accoyo Rose Grey male in the USA. Notorious will spend the winters in Florida where he is co-owned with Southern Oaks Alpacas.
